Eric Fleury, nominated "Knight of the National Order of Merit"

Eric Fleury, Professor at "Ecole Normale Supérieure de Lyon, Inria Chair holder and leader of DANTE research team, is nominated "Knight of the National Order of Merit" (chevalier de l'Ordre National du Mérite), on May 15, 2015, in the field of National Education, Higher Education and Research.
His research field concerns the modeling of large scale dynamics networks (social networks, wireless sensors networks, communication networks) and the analysis of the data collected by these networks for human interactions measurements or health care applications, for examples.
Eric Fleury is the scientific leader of the Future Internet of things experimental platform (FIT IoT-LAB).
FIT IoT-LAB is a large-scale experimental platform for communicating objects and networks of sensors. It enables the rapid deployment of experiments and the collection of large amounts of data. It includes over 2700 sensor nodes, distributed over six sites in France, offering a wide range of different processor architectures and radio components.
National Order of Merit (Ordre National du Mérite)
An institution of the French Republic born in the middle of the 20th century, the National Order of Merit is the second national Order after the Legion of Honor. Its purpose is to reward "distinguished merit", honoring individuals from all fields of activity.
