Our acceleration strategy

Changed on 17/02/2023

As part of its mission to support public policies, a pillar of our Contract of Objectives and Performance, Inria has set up thematic programmes and missions to serve national acceleration strategies, in order to best mobilise the communities of academic and industrial players in which the Institute is positioned. This organisation, structured according to an ecosystem approach, amplifies the impact of Inria's action at both the national and territorial levels, since the nine "centre Inria de l’université" benefit from the panoramic vision of the programmes, and all the programmes can symmetrically rely on the anchoring and detailed knowledge of the ecosystems of each of the "centre Inria de l’université".

Inria Programmes, a structure for the acceleration of research and innovation

In order to structure its activity in priority areas, the Institute has increasingly set up cross-disciplinary coordination units, called "programmes", in line with Inria's DNA of agility and projects. In addition, Inria is co-pilot with its partners of a Cloud PEPR (Inria, CEA) and three exploratory PEPRs: the eNSEMBLE projects (Grenoble Alpes University, Paris-Saclay University and CNRS, in partnership with the Mines-Telecom Institute, Sorbonne University, Claude-Bernard-Lyon 1 University, Lille University and Toulouse III University. ), NumPex (CEA, CNRS) and O2R (Inria, CEA, CNRS).
