In October 2022, Hélène Jacquet was appointed project manager to the Policy advisor to the CEO - HEI liaison.

D. in Computer Science from the University of Bordeaux (1999), Hélène Jacquet began her career in 2000 by creating a technology transfer unit attached to the Bordeaux Computer Science Research Laboratory (LaBRI). A year later, in 2001, she joined Sony in California as a senior researcher in an R&D team.

In 2004, she joined the Parisian consulting firm Erdyn, specialized in technological innovation. She worked there as a consultant, then as an associate, for ETIs, startups, local authorities and the State. This experience led her to become involved in the creation and development of the University of Bordeaux in 2008, for fourteen years and through several functions: in charge of strategy and major projects at the PRES université de Bordeaux (research and higher education cluster preceding the communities of universities and establishments), director of the Mission investissements d'avenir of the university of Bordeaux (IdEx and major projects), deputy director general of services (DGSA) in charge of a cluster integrating research, international relations, innovation and partnerships, and from 2018 to 2022, vice president strategy and development of the university in the team of Manuel Tunon de Lara.

In 2020, she will be the first General Delegate of Udice, the association of research-intensive universities, alongside Christine Clerici, President of Université Paris-Cité and first President of Udice.  In this capacity, she accompanies the presidents of member universities and their teams (Aix-Marseille University, Sorbonne University, Université Claude Bernard Lyon 1, Université Côte d'Azur, Université de Bordeaux, Université Paris Cité, Université de Strasbourg, Université Grenoble Alpes, Université Paris Saclay, Université Paris Sciences et Lettres) on a range of strategic projects for French and European ESRI in an international context.

In October 2022, she joins Inria as a Policy advisor to the CEO - HEI liaison.
