Partnership launched between Empowered Startups France and Inria Grenoble Rhône-Alpes in the field of start-up incubators

With the goal of strengthening Inria’s commitment to promoting technology transfer in the interests of innovation, this partnership will make it easier for Inria researchers to link up with projects from internet start-ups supported by Empowered Startups France, an incubator that specialises in launching innovative, transnational start-ups.

Developing Inria’s international reach

“We are delighted to have the opportunity to enter into a partnership with a new overseas partner in the field of start-up incubation, and can't wait to work together on new projects and share incubation methods”,explains Philippe Broun, head of the Transfer, Innovation and Partnerships department at the Inria Grenoble Rhône-Alpes centre.

Sharing and exchanging methods for supporting start-ups and technology transfer

“Inria is a major player in the field of technological research for innovation, and we are delighted to have the opportunity to work with them on the subject of technology transfer for start-ups with potential global reach”, explains Paul Girodo, president of Empowered Startups France and founder of Empowered Startups in Canada, Portugal, Vietnam and Hong Kong.

Promoting entrepreneurship

Finally, the partnership will help raise awareness among scientists of business creation, expanding the reach of the Rhône-Alpes innovation ecosystem into global markets.
