Magnetic Resonance Fingerprinting (MRF) is a recent technology which has the potential to become a game changer in radiology and medicine.  In contrast to conventional MRI, MRF opens up a design space of thousands of tunable parameters over which to search for optimal sequences. 

We propose to generate such optimal sequences by  investigating optimal control and reinforcement learning techniques.
