Co-founded by Alexandre d'Aspresmont, CNRS researcher in optimization and machine learning in the Sierra team (at the ENS Paris/ Inria/ CNRS IT department), Kayrros offers innovative software solutions to measure oil stocks worldwide in real time (using satellite images and public data).

The EIC Accelerator supports high-risk and high-potential startups, small-to-medium companies and innovators to help them develop and bring new innovative products, services and business models to market that can stimulate economic growth.

With this award, the startup, created in 2016 and now with 80 employees, will receive up to 2.5 million euros to finance its innovation work over a period of 12 to 24 months. The startup’s ambition is to make Kayrros a fully-fledged quantitative and macroeconomic medium, addressing the issue of renewable, solar and wind energy, in addition to its position in a market that is already directly impacting the global economy.
