NLIGHT

NLIGHT aims to automatically estimate the lighting of a real scene in order to integrate virtual elements in a visually indistinguishable manner.  We intend to create new probabilistic and ML-based appriached, not only to extract the complete lighting of a real scene, but also to propose some innovative evaluation and comparison metrics. The project is potentionnally a game changer In the visual effects area for cinema production, by remarquably reducing the time required for the final compositing step (real/virtual integration).
