A free shuttle bus (coach with Inria panel on the windscreen) runs daily between Paris, Versailles and Inria Paris - Rocquencourt. Find below the details of schedules and stops on departure and arrival from Versailles or Paris.
Getting to the institute from Versailles
- 8h20 - Versailles Chantiers train station: the stop is on the sidewalk of La Poste at the intersection of rue des Etats Généraux and rue Benjamin Franklin.

From Paris, Gare Montparnasse
- Take the train to "Versailles-Chantiers".
By RER A to "St Germain en Laye", "Poissy" or "Cergy". Chage at "Grande Arche de La Défense" and take the train (SNCF) to "Versailles-Rive Droite". By RER C to "Versailles-Rive Gauche" ou pour "Versailles-Chantiers".
Once in Versailles, take the shuttle to Inria Rocquencourt.
Outside the shuttle bus hours, it is possible to reach Inria by urban buses from Versailles.
By car
From Paris
- Take "l'autoroute de l'Ouest" (A13 direction "Rouen").
- Then take exit n° 6, direction "St Germain en Laye, Versailles-Notre Dame".
- Turn left towards "Versailles".
- Then take the second on the right (about 200 m further on), direction "Bailly, Maule".
- Inria is 250 m on the right, after a BP petrol station.
The distance from Paris/periphery to the institute is about 20 km.
