Erwan Faou, 2011 winner of the ERC - Starting Grant, is working on the mathematical secrets of the laws of physics.

My project is to invent and rigorously analyse new numerical methods, capable of simulating physical phenomena such as protein folding, the evolution of planets, or meteorological, oceanographic and aeronautical modelling.
