Serge Abiteboul awarded by the Royal Society

Serge Abiteboul was awarded the 2013 Milner Award in recognition of his database research. Research Director at Inria Saclay, he is also member of the French Academy of Sciences and the Conseil national du numérique (France).
The Royal Society Milner Award was named in honour of Professor Robin Milner. Each year, it rewards a european researcher for outstanding achievement in computer science. The prize is awarded by a committee made up of Fellows of the Royal Society, Members of the Académie des sciences and Members of Leopoldina (Germany). Serge Abiteboul will receive his prize in November 2013 and will deliver a public lecture on his research on November 12th at the Royal Society.
