On April 12th 2019, Rachid Guerraoui, Chair in Informatics and Computational Sciences for the year 2018–2019 at Collège de France for distributed computing, will organize his international symposium on Taking Stock of Distributed Computing .

Rachid Guerraoui, professor at the School of Computer and Communication Sciences at Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL), known for his contributions in the fields of concurrent and distributed computing. He is an ACM Fellow and the Chair in Informatics and Computational Sciences for the year 2018–2019 at Collège de France for distributed computing.

His symposium, entitled Taking Stock of Distributed Computing , will take place on April 12, 2019 in the Maurice Halbwachs Amphitheatre of the Collège de France.
