A France-Japan symposium organized by the DATAIA Institute and the JST

The DATAIA Institute and the Japan Science and Technology Agency (JST), in partnership with the Ministry of Higher Education, Research and Innovation (MESRI) and the French Embassy in Japan, are organizing a France-Japan workshop on Data Science and AI, Core Technologies and Applications For a New Society .

Between 150 and 200 people, stakeholders in data science research, are expected at this symposium organized by the DATAIA Institute and the Japan Science and Technology Agency in partnership with MESRI and the French Embassy in Japan.

The symposium will receive over 25 winners from the three CREST/JST programmes, the equivalent of the ERC Advanced Grants  in Japan.

In attendance will be the research directors of the JST's prestigious CREST programs: "Advanced Core Technologies for Big Data Integration" and "Advanced Application Technologies to Boost Big Data Utilization for Multiple-Field Scientific Discovery and Social Problem Solving" as well as the supervisors of these programs: Pr. Kitsuregawa, Pr. Tanaka with Pr. Hagita supervisor of the program "Intelligent Information Processing Systems Creating Co-Experience Knowledge and Wisdom with Human-Machine Harmonious Collaboration ".
