Coding the Future : Metasurface for Quantum Information Processing

Metasurfaces are flat structures that possess extraordinary abilities to manipulate light in ways that surpass the capabilities of traditional optical components. These fascinating planar surfaces have attracted substantial research attention and have resulted in the creation of efficient devices based on metasurfaces, including achromatic metalenses, color holograms, and even metasurfaces with active functionalities. This proposal aims to harness the potential of metasurfaces to push the boundaries of quantum information processing. The project will tackle intricate numerical modeling challenges and employ innovative numerical schemes to unlock the design of state-of-the-art applications, ultimately contributing to a more sustainable and equitable future through quantum technology.
