Netva Program 2015
XtremLogic selected for the NETVA 2015 program
XtremLogic, an Inria startup founded in 2014, has been selected for the NETVA 2015 program, which provides personalised support and mentoring to prepare the winners for taking on the American markets.
Since 2010, the NETVA program, sponsored by the science and technology departments of the French embassies in the USA and Canada to help young companies develop in the international markets, has already supported over 46 French startups. Each year, the seminar mentors have provided guidance to the winners, helping them to pursue their company development in America and find the right contacts and tools to succeed in the North American market. The program for this sixth edition includes training in American pitch methods and presentation to the Microsoft BizSpark network and French business incubators.
The eighteen startups selected this year to receive training and support in San Francisco, at the heart of Silicon Valley, include a startup developed out of an Inria team: XtremLogic, set up by Alexandru Plesco and Christophe Alias (Compsys team) in January 2014. It provides computing solutions based on dedicated reconfigurable systems with performance up to fifty times faster than existing systems, aimed at the analytics, oil and finance sectors. Using high performance computing to accelerate computational speed, XtremLogic has already won several awards, at the SAME conference, the French competition for innovative tech startups, Lyon OpenLabs and the Crealys competition.
