The 18th ceremony of the Prix des Technologies Numériques was held on Tuesday 12 April at 6:30 p.m. at the French Ministry of Economy, Industry and Digital Affairs, sponsored and attended by Axelle Lemaire, Secretary of State for Digital Affairs. Safety Line was nominated for the digital innovation award for its joint work with the COMMANDS team from Inria Saclay - Île-de-France research centre.

OpenViBE to Become Medically Certifiable

Born at Inria research center in Rennes, Brittany, France, circa 2009, OpenViBE has become a leading open source software for Brain Computer Interfaces (BCI) and neuroscience research. A spin-off of the institute owning an exclusive license of the software for commercial applications, Mensia Technologies markets this technology through its own line of products as well as services to other vendors or neurotherapists. The company and the scientists are now starting a joint effort to make the software medically certifiable, thus easing the future certification of OpenViBE-based applications created by third parties.

SATT Conectus Alsace and Inria sign a partnership agreement

In order to develop and further research partnerships and technology transfer, the joint Inria project teams with the CNRS and the University of Strasbourg*wish to improve the flow of their contractual exchanges with industry. Conectus Alsace, a French technology transfer accelerator company (SATT) and Inria have therefore just signed an agreement whose aim is to simplify and accelerate the implementation of these contracts.
