On 12th November 2014, Inria, in partnership with Cap Digital, CVSTENE and SystemX, organises an "Inria Industry meeting" focused on "Data Analytics". Co-located with the IEEE Conference Vis 2014, the premier forum for advances in data visualisation which brings together researchers and practitioners from academia and industry, it will take place at the Marriott Rive-Gauche Hotel in Paris. This half-day will be filled with discussions around technology demonstrations and conferences with speakers who will share their scientific, economic and industrial vision in the domain.

Rémi Ronchaud is the head of the industrial relations department of the Inria Saclay - Île-de-France research centre. He presents the missions of the department within the context of industry and partnerships of the plateau de Saclay.
Xavier Duportet did his PhD thesis within the project team Lifeware (Inria Paris - Rocquencourt) and at the Boston MIT. He has recently received several scientific awards for his project on the antibiotic of the future. He also won the Concours mondial d’innovation 2030 (Worldwide Innovation Challenge 2030). French Tech Cote d'Azur
The Inria Sophia Antipolis – Méditerranée Centre is backing the candidature of the French Tech Côte d'Azur with its "French Tech" endorsement to help the development of digital companies in the region.
Its objectives are: to develop the digital ‘ecosystem’ within the Côte d’Azur to achieve strong visibility in France and abroad, to attract new companies and to reinforce support for start-ups and SMEs using "accelerators", which act like incubators for companies already up and running.
This summer, David Guiraud, the DEMAR project-team leader, received the 2010 grand prize of the EADS Enterprise Foundation for all of his work: a major contribution for computer science serving the biomedical field and a remarkable cooperation with industry.
