L’HUmain au cœur de l'analyse de données MAssives pour la sécurité.
We observe an explosion of connected devices through the IoT phenomenon. In the current information system management those devices are frequently ignored for using well known reliable mechanisms. Unfortunately those mechanisms are very rarely designed for massive data and miscellaneous information sources. The aim of the HuMa project is to enable the security experts to take all of those sources into account, for their analysis, by designing new suitable tools according to the new face of the information system.
This summer school, funded by the FET (Future and Emerging Technologies) unit of the European Commission (EC), will be a satellite event of the Symposium on Computational Geometry.

This is the story of a human and scientific encounter. When Stéphanie Fleck, the Associate Professor leading the University of Lorraine's PErSEUs* team, came to Talence barely a year ago to present her work to the IMH'13 conference (organised by Inria Bordeaux Sud-Ouest and the Francophone Association for Man-Machine Interaction), she discovered the work of Martin Hachet, who was heading the Potioc project team.
Thomas Cedeborg and Simon Labarthe, respectively PHD from Flowers team and Carmen team, have received the THESAQT award, which recognise their thesis works, during a local event about innovation (NOVAQT).

One of the current threat on the privacy and confidentiality of data is the possibility of data theft through malware infection. In our demonstration, we show how our malware detection tool chain can be used to detect malwares and prevent exfiltration of data after an infection. Methods based on syntactic properties become ineffective as soon as the binary is slightly mutated or obfuscated. We'll show that our method, based on behavioral analysis, is able to detect even mutated and obfuscated malware, thus protecting user data from avanced infections.

Videos of reconstruction and prediction of human movement and dynamics (forces, muscle efforts..) from wearable sensing. Application for the analysis of tasks of workers in factories of industry 4.0. Also videos of human-robot collaboration.
On 3rdand 4th May, purchasers from French national education system departments will visit the Nouvelle Aquitaine Edtech Cluster and meet with its project leaders. The goal is to foster collaboration between two worlds that are unfamiliar with each other and discuss technical solutions to meet the needs of education in the future. Inria will be a driver of this initiative.
