Virtual assembly for rehabilitation and accessibility
We show a preliminary result of the SHIVA interreg IVA-2 seas project (http://www.shiva-project.eu/ ), that provides user with the possibility to create geometry. The system is based on elementary geometry elements, that can be combined using flexible interaction. SHIVA project targets rehabilitation of brain vascular accident, and impaired children. The application that is demonstrated can be used by teacher/doctors to set up exercices that demand both cognition and gesture effort, either for education, rehabilitation, or creativity expression.

Colloquium Jacques Morgenstern
Colloquium Tony DeRose
In this talk, Tony DeRose will survey a number of current and recent projects underway in the Research Group at Pixar. To set context for the discussion he'll begin with a brief overview of their production pipeline. He'll also discuss how they approach research at Pixar, including how they pick problems, what they look for when they consider the adoption of external research, and how they transfer technology to the rest of the studio.
