La demi-heure de science a lieu tous les mois, à partir de 13h45, dans la salle Jacques-Louis Lions au bâtiment C. Un café vous y accueille dès 13h30.

Cette demi-heure a pour but de présenter, à tous les scientifiques du centre, un thème, son intérêt et les questions qui s’y rapportent afin de répondre à l'interrogation « pourquoi mène-t-on des recherches dans ce domaine-là ? »

Nina Miolane Awarded For Women in Science Fellowship

PhD candidate Nina Miolane, a member of the ASCLEPIOS project-team at the Inria Sophia Antipolis-Méditerranée research centre, is one of thirty promising young researchers to be recognised by UNESCO and the L’Oréal Corporate Foundation. She has been awarded a Fellowship for her virtual patient research in the category “Exploring the brain, a new world to conquer”.

Tools for getting more out of brain imaging

Brain imaging has made a great deal of progress in recent years, providing more and more data and with an increasingly high level of quality.  Developing reliable, high-performance tools to improve the use of these images is now vital. Inria has an important role to play in this respect. The Parietal team is presenting four articles on this subject at MICCAI 2012, as well as contributing to four specialist workshops and running a demonstration at the Inria stand.
