The 11th edition of the TERATEC Forum will take place on 28th and 29th June 2016 on the Ecole Polytechnique campus. Inria will be presenting a selection of innovative technologies and will partner the European Research Café, which aims to spotlight European research projects and initiatives in the fields of numerical simulation, HPC and Big Data.
Inria will be present, as it is every year, at the TERATEC forum that will take place on the École polytechnique campus on 27 and 28 June. Researchers from the institute will present innovative technologies and participate in technical and application workshops on emerging technologies in the field of digital simulation, HPC and Big Data.

Supported by French research institute Inria, SimGrid is an open source tool for the simulation of distributed systems. Over the last 15 years, it has become a staple in more than one scientific community across the globe, contributing to performance optimization in many contexts. The next challenge is to help SimGrid reach the industry, an effort for which Inria is about to start a two-year Technical Action, as project coordinator Martin Quinson explains.
