Inria Awards 2014
Inria announces the Inria awards 2014 winners. Find out who are acknowledged this year for their major contributions to computer science and promising innovations for our society and the proper functioning of Inria. The winners of five Inria awards in 2014 will be honoured on 13 October, at an awards ceremony at the Forum des Images in Paris.
The MOOC “« Binaural Hearing for Robots » will be available soon on the platform France Université Numérique. It will be taught by Radu Horaud, from the Perception team (Inria, Université Joseph Fourier, Institut polytechnique de Grenoble, CNRS, Laboratoire Jean Kuntzmann (LJK)).

Massive Open Online Course
According to Stéphane Ducasse, Pharo is the best language to learn and understand Object-Oriented Programming. With two other researchers, he revisited 10 years of teaching in a MOOC, which will soon be available on the FUN platform.
Alexandre Dubus is a young graduate engineer at Inria Lille – Northern Europe. Since 2013, he has been working on the development of the FUN MOOC platform. Last Monday, this work was recognized when he was declared a winner of the Inria Support for Research and Innovation Award.
