The Académie des sciences (French Academy of Sciences) and Inria are now working in partnership to select the winners of the Inria Awards for science, in each of three categories. Together, they honour innovative scientific contributions to computer science and mathematics and promote the contributions and successes of those who are driving the development of our digital world.
The achievements of the 2013 award winners are a testament to the dynamism of computational sciences and their impact on society.

InriaTech Initiative in Lille : Inria's Support for Research and Innovation Award

In April 2015, the Inria Lille – Nord Europe research centre launched InriaTech, a technology transfer platform designed to increase the exchanges with companies, many of which are local. Result of a collective dynamic, this pilot initiative is an central element of the Institut’s national policy of promoting such transfers. The multiservice team responsible for setting up InriaTech is receiving the award for its involvement in the creation of this ‘innovation accelerator’.

Inria Awards 2014

Two members from Lille win the award for research and innovation support

The MoocLab technical team has won the 2014 award for research and innovation support. It is a team of seven engineers and managers from the institute, including two members from Inria Lille - Nord Europe – Alexandre Dubus, development engineer and Guillaume Ollivier, head of the experimentation and development department.

CNIL-Inria Prize

Launch of 2nd edition of CNIL-Inria Privacy Prize

The second edition of the CNIL-INRIA "Privacy Protection" Prize starts on 2 May 2017. It will reward a scientific paper on privacy and personal data protection published in 2015-2016. The award is intended to raise awareness and promote research on privacy and data protection.

Inria Awards 2011

Julien Wintz : Support for Research and Innovation Inria Award

Julien Wintz, research engineer in the department of development and experimentation (SED) at the Inria Sophia Antipolis-Méditerranée Centre has just received the Award for Research and Innovation Support for his contribution to the realisation of a software meta-platform. The platform is used by researchers to develop their own software, which speeds up the development of their work, and is also a collaborative tool for research and knowledge transfer actions.

Stéphane Donikian, At the heart of the Golaem adventure

Founded in January 2009, Golaem is the result of around a decade of research by Stéphane Donikian into human behaviour modelling. The start-up that he created has won several contracts and, since May 2011, is marketing its third product, Golaem Crowd, to the world of animated film.
