On 11 and 12 September 2013, Inria and INRA are holding a joint seminar in order to review the actions undertaken as part of the collaboration between the two organisations. This event, which will be open to all interested researchers, will look at the activities borne from the partnership such as the creation of joint teams, the joint recruitment of PhD students and the two institutes' joint responses to calls for proposals.

Sanofi-aventis strengthens its commitment to research in France through a partnership with AVIESAN Sanofi-aventis signs agreement with Aviesan alliance
This inaugural partnership agreement was signed with the whole of the French academic research community. It concerns the financing of young researchers awarded grants as part of the Inserm/CNRS ATIP AVENIR programme, and the investment of up to 50 million euros over five years for all public-private partnerships.
Over the last eleven years, Inria and INRA have continuously renewed their partnership: the fourth framework agreement, signed in June 2016, confirms the collaboration between the two institutions through joint research teams and scientific projects.

Treasure is one of the networks developed as part of the EuroMediterranean 3+3 programme, created in 2006 to promote regional cooperation in the Mediterranean Basin. The aim of this multi-disciplinary, trans-Mediterranean network is to develop an effective water pollution control system that is capable of meeting growing water needs in North Africa.
