Inria rewarded for its collaboration with Lemma

In each of the past 8 years, the Fédération des Industries Électriques, Électroniques et de Communication (FIEEC) [The Federation of Electrical, Electronic and Communication Industries] has awarded a prize for applied research. The goal of this prize is to promote successful collaborations between industry and public research while demonstrating both their economic effectiveness and their potential for innovation. This year, the 2nd prize was awarded to Adrien Loseille (from Gamma3) for his work in adaptive meshing in collaboration with Charles Leca, CEO of Lemma.

Digital science optimizes solar flares predictions

M.Q.(*) - 8/02/2018

A multidisciplinary team, with Tahar Amari and Aurelien Canou from the Centre de physique théorique*, in collaboration with Jean-Jacques Aly from the Laboratoire d'Astrophysique, interprétation - modélisation**, François Delyon from the Laboratoire de physique théorique de la matière condensée*** and Frédéric Alauzet from the Centre de recherche Inria Saclay - Île-de-France, has just made a major scientific discovery: a single phenomenon could control all solar flares.

A meeting with Gamma3

Charlotte Renauld - 26/04/2016

The Gamma3 project-team became part of Inria Saclay-Île-de-France Research Centre on 1st, January, 2016. It works on the robustness and speed of the algorithms used to develop numerical simulation softwares that are known and recognised all over the world. Paul-Louis George, Gamma3 team leader, enthusiastically explained to us how his team works and how it continues to validate and distribute software all over the world.
