Born at Inria research center, in Rennes, Brittany, France, over a decade ago, OpenViBE is one of the world's leading software platforms for processing EEG signals, designing Brain-Computer Interfaces (BCI) and conducting research in real-time neuroscience. As the tool has gained maturity and now caters to a vast community of users, Inria plans to open its management to external parties through a non-profit consortium.
