The conference provides a viewpoint on Alan Turing's research work and its unique impact on mathematics, computing, computer science, informatics, morphogenesis, artificial intelligence, philosophy and the wider scientific world. It is organized by 'École Normale Supérieure de Lyon", in partnership with Inria, on the occasion of the Centenary of Alan Turing’s birth.

Eric Fleury, Professor at "Ecole Normale Supérieure de Lyon, Inria Chair holder and leader of DANTE research team, is nominated "Knight of the National Order of Merit" (chevalier de l'Ordre National du Mérite), on May 15, 2015, in the field of National Education, Higher Education and Research.
His research field concerns the modeling of large scale dynamics networks (social networks, wireless sensors networks, communication networks) and the analysis of the data collected by these networks for human interactions measurements or health care applications, for examples.
Éric Fleury is taking up the position of head of the Inria Paris research centre as of 1 April 2018. Appointed by François Sillion, Inria's acting CEO, he succeeds Isabelle Ryl who is joining the institute's directorate-general as Deputy CEO for Transfer and Industrial Partnerships.
