Cooperative and Human-aware Robot Navigation in Dynamic Environments
Cooperative and Human-aware Robot Navigation in Dynamic Environments

The Chroma team aims at designing general methods for mobile robots' perception and decision making, taking into account robots autonomy, limited ressources, robots cooperation and social interactions. The project aims to provide models and algorithms allowing one or several robots to carry out tasks in complex environments. These models must allow robots to i) perceive and decide under highly constrained conditions (uncertainty, limited sensors, real time), ii) adapt to the dynamics of the environment (predict, plan, learn), iii) cooperate in the presence of other robotic entities (cooperation, communication strategies), and finally iv) take into account the presence of humans in the environment (robot social intelligence).
