Three Chairs at the Collège de France

Created in 2009 by the Collège de France and Inria, this Chair in Computer Science and Digital Sciences aims to promote computer science and applied mathematics.
Three researchers from the Inria Sophia Antipolis - Méditerranée research centre have obtained a chair at the Collège de France: Gérard Berry in 2009 and 2014, Nicholas Ayache in 2015 and Jean-Daniel Boissonnat in 2017.

Jean-Daniel Boissonnat

Jean-Daniel Boissonnat, holder of the Chair in Computer Science and Digital Sciences, gave an inaugural lecture at the Collège de France on Thursday 23rd March 2017 on the theme "From geometric data to data geometry".


Nicholas Ayache

Created in 2009 by the Collège de France and Inria, this Chair in Computer Science and Digital Sciences aims to promote computer science and applied mathematics.
Nicholas Ayache gave his inaugural lecture on Thursday, April 10,2014, followed by a teaching session on the theme:"The Personalized Digital Patient: Images, Medicine and Computing".

Gérard Berry gave three inaugural courses at the Collège de France
