The InriaTech Sud-Est system: a transfer accelerator, at the service of the Côte d'Azur ecosystem
InriaTech is a transfer platform in the digital sciences, either through partnerships with companies, especially SMEs and start-ups, or through the creation of technology companies.
InriaTech 's objective is to accelerate the impact of the research carried out by Inria's project teams to strengthen the ecosystem of innovative companies.
Initiated in 2015 in the Lille-North Europe centre, the concept has since been deployed in several Inria research centres. InriaTech Sud-Est is part of the ongoing development of this national program in the region. It is also one of the components of the Digital Challenges Reference Centre of the Idex UCAJedi of Université Côte d’Azur.
Revealing the innovation potential of companies
InriaTech makes it possible to mobilize skills, particularly those of engineers, on short-cycle R&D partnership contracts, while trying to control technological risk. These engineers are assigned to collaborations lasting a few months, with the objective of transferring technology and/or skills.
InriaTech relies on all the resources of the Inria Sophia Antipolis - Mediterranean research centre, including experimental platforms.
InriaTech can meet the expectations of companies in the region, particularly SMEs and start-ups, who want to access to digital skills and technologies developed by research teams. These companies can now rely on the availability and support of a multidisciplinary team of experts. In the medium and long term, it is a promise of economic development and jobs for the region Sud Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur.
