The ASAP research team wins the 2015 Prix La Recherche
The ASAP team's paper entitled "Archiving Cold Data in Warehouses with Clustered Network Coding, Actes de EuroSys 2014" has won the prize awarded by the magazine La Recherche in the "Computer Science" category. Launched 12 years ago, this prize aims to promote research spanning different scientific and technological disciplines.
In 2003, the magazine La Recherche set up the Prix La Recherche, which is awarded each year to track the latest advances in science.
It recompenses research teams conducting particularly cutting-edge research, including both pure and applied research. Rather than a whole person's career, it is awarded for a research project carried out in the past year, and then, through the magazine, the winning teams' work is promoted to the wider public.
The Prix La Recherche is awarded to eleven teams working in eleven different subject areas, thereby encompassing the entire spectrum of research and promoting research carried out in various disciplines, in the Computer Science category, the ASAP research team based at the Inria Rennes - Bretagne Atlantique Research Centre was awarded the prize for its paper, "Archiving Cold Data in Warehouses with Clustered Network Coding, Actes de EuroSys 2014", co-authored by F.
