Rémi Gribonval, EURASIP Fellow 2018
Rémi Gribonval, Inria researcher and head of PANAMA project-team, has just received EURASIP Fellow 2018. A prestigious distinction that awards his work in the field of signal processing.
Since 2007, The EuropeanAssociation européenne for signa processing (EURASIP) elects each year a small group of four researchers to the rank of "EURASIP Fellow". This award aims to recognize outstanding achievements in the broad of signal processing.
Sparse signal processing research awarded since 2011
This year, four international researchers have been awarded. Among them, Rémi Gribonval, research director at Inria Rennes - Bretagne Atlantique center and head of the PANAMA project team. Rémi's work has been recognized and awarded with several prestigious awards: the Gamni-Smai Blaise Pascal Prize, awarded by the Académie des Sciences, then the ERC Starting Grants in 2011, and the IEEE Fellow in 2013.
Today, the EURASIP association awards it for its contribution to the theory and applications of sparse signal processing and machine learning.
