Inria Industry Meetings

For over twenty years, Inria has been hosting "Inria Industry Meetings”, which are specific conferences where the institute presents its research and what it has to offer to companies in a given sector.

The goal of these sessions is both to promote Inria's work and understand the needs of industry partners in order to establish links between the two communities that lead to new collaborations or technology transfer projects. The days are structured around  technologies relevant to the sector in question, which are pitched by Inria’s teams and SMEs partnered with or started by Inria, and ended with themed lectures.

These Meetings are organized in collaboration with partners involved in the innovation sector in the region where the meetings are being held.

Established in 1967, Inria is the only public research body fully dedicated to computational sciences in France.
Combining computer sciences with mathematics, Inria’s 3,500 researchers strive to invent the digital technologies of the future. Educated at leading international universities, they creatively integrate basic research with applied research and dedicate themselves to solving real problems, collaborating with the main players in public and private research in France and abroad and transferring the results of their work to innovative companies.

Since 2011, Inria runs “Inria@SiliconValley”, an active scientific joint program with Californian universities, mainly with UC Berkeley and Stanford University. In cooperation with CITRIS, this program aims to strengthen and structure existing collaborations between Inria research teams and Californian universities and create and support new innovative projects with complementary competences, addressing scientific challenges of  the digital society.

PRIME is a transatlantic innovation platform promoting the Paris region as a center of innovation and engaging in activities to encourage and incentivize American companies and organizations to invest in the Paris Region.

PRIME, Inria and CITRIS have signed a MOU on smart cities research and open innovation on February 12th, 2014 to accelerate the development of ambitious research and experimentation initiatives on issues relating to urban centers.
