ENBIS-18, Annual Conference of the European Network for Business and Industrial Statistics

The 18th annual conference "ENBIS" conference of the European network of commercial and industrial statistics will be hosted this year by "Elie Cartan Institute of Lorraine" and will take place from September 2 to 6 at the Ecole des Mines de Nancy. Anne Gégout-Petit, professor at the University of Lorraine and head of the Inria BIGS research team, chairs the organizing committee for the 2018 edition.

ENBIS (the European Network for Business and Industrial Statistics) is a platform where statistical practitioners and academic statisticians from Europe and beyond meet, exchange ideas and design new projects
The annual conference hosts presentations from a wide variety of sectors ranging from manufacturing to private service to the public sector. Contributions to the conference can consist of presentations and insights (presenting an area of expertise to the uninitiated), journals (presenting the latest advances in scientific research) and best practices in communication (sharing experiences of practitioners). In brief: the annual conference presents theoretical and practical articles.
A very dense program, which begins Sunday, September 2 with a "pre-conference race" at the Elie Cartan Institute, and ends on September 6 by the ECAS-ENBIS summer school.
