Compas’2015: The Conference on parallel computing, architecture and systems
Compas’2015, the conference on parallel computing, architecture and systems organised by the CRIStAL laboratory will take place from 30 June to 3 July, in Lille. Inria is partnering the event, in association with Polytech’Lille and Université de Lille 1. Romain Rouvoy, a researcher in the Spirals project team based at Inria Lille – Nord Europe is chairing the organisation committee for the event.

Compas is the Conférence d’informatique en Parallélisme, Architecture et Système . It unites under a single umbrella the three different conferences held in France up to 2013: RenPar (Rencontres francophones du Parallélisme), SympA (Symposium en Architectures nouvelles de machines) and CFSE (Conférence Française en Systèmes d’Exploitation).
Compas'2015 will take place from 30 June to 3 July 2015 at Université Lille 1 in Villeneuve d'Ascq. It is being organised by CRIStAL, the Centre de Recherche en Informatique, Signal et Automatique de Lille ((Lille Research Centre for Computer Science, Signal Processing and Automatic Control), in partnership with the Inria Lille – Nord Europe Research Centre, Polytech’Lille and Université de Lille 1. The organisation and steering committee thus includes members of the Dreampal team (joint project with the CNRS and Université Lille1*) and the Spirals team (joint project with Université Lille 1).
In recent years, the Compas conference sessions have combined a rich and varied programme of quality scientific papers with events dedicated to networking between experienced researchers, young researchers and industry players, all focused on parallel computing, architecture and systems. Compas provides an ideal opportunity to strengthen relations between French-speaking research teams and to promote the emergence of new subjects for research and collaboration.
