The Conférence Francophone sur l’Apprentissage Automatique (CAP) has been held annually since 1999, bringing together the French-speaking community working in the field of machine learning. This year’s conference will be held in Lille on Sunday July 5th, organized by a committee formed by Mikaela Keller and Géraud le Falher, members of the Magnet team at Inria Lille - Nord Europe (in association with Université Lille 3*).
- Date : 5/07/2015
- Place : Espace Inkerman, Lille
CAP’2015 is intended to provide a friendly forum for discussion between all those involved in machine learning but is also open to anyone interested in finding out about this field, with PhD students being particularly welcome. CAP is primarily an opportunity to obtain constructive, rigorous feedback on your work but also to find out about a wide range of research currently taking place in machine learning and to make new contacts, to which end all the contributions will be presented in poster form during the afternoon and early evening of July 5th.
A major event for the machine learning community will take place in 2015: ICML will be held in Lille from Monday July 6th to Saturday July 11th, so to allow you to attend both ICML and CAP while minimizing travel and other expenses we have decided to concentrate CAP into one half-day on the afternoon of Sunday July 5th. Part of the afternoon will be reserved for a plenary session of keynote speeches and we shall also have the opportunity to invite some foreign speakers.
