The Bordeaux - Sud-Ouest Research Centre aims to be active in the field of technology transfer. To this end, its activities are managed and coordinated to ensure the growing development of three types of results:

- Software creation
- Start-up formation
Supported by the Aquitaine Regional Council, the Inria Bordeaux - Sud-Ouest Centre forms close ties with a network of regional partners, including competitiveness clusters, innovation agencies and thematic associations.
The Inria Bordeaux - Sud-Ouest Centre does everything in its power to foster scientific "catalysis". As such, it is involved in a number of technology development actions, including the development of a platform dedicated to high performance computing: PlaFRIM.
