Software and technology platform

The Inria Bordeaux - Sud-Ouest Centre does everything in its power to foster scientific "catalysis" . As such, it is involved in a number of technology development actions, including the development of a platform dedicated to high performance computing: PlaFRIM and the creation of several recognized software programs .

Setting up a company is a preferred method of converting the results from research into innovative economic activities . Since 1984, nearly a hundred companies have been created within Inria. A dozen of them come from the Inria Bordeaux - Sud-Ouest research center
