Pierre-Jean Benghozi

Pierre-Jean Benghozi est un ancien élève de l’Ecole polytechnique (1976), titulaire d’un doctorat en sciences des organisations de l’Université paris Dauphine (1982) et d’une HDR en économie de l’Université Paris Dauphine (1991). Il a dirigé, jusqu’en 2013, le « Pôle de Recherche en Économie et Gestion » (Unité Mixte CNRS - École polytechnique). Il était également en charge de la Chaire « Innovation et Régulation des Services Numériques » qu’il  y avait fondé, en partenariat avec Télécom ParisTech. Pierre-Jean Benghozi a développé, en précurseur, une équipe de recherche sur l’entreprise et l’économie numérique ainsi que sur les industries de contenus. Ses projets de recherche actuels portent plus spécifiquement sur le développement et l’usage des TIC dans les grandes organisations, la structuration des chaînes de valeur et des nouveaux modèles d’affaires associés aux marchés du commerce électronique, notamment dans les industries créatives. Il publie régulièrement sur questions en français et en anglais. Il enseigne dans plusieurs grandes universités parisiennes et étrangères et est régulièrement sollicité comme expert.

Christophe Lecante holds a Master’s Degree in Economics from Pantheon Sorbonne University and a Master of Business Administration from Sup de Co Reims.
He starts his career in Canada, where he successively worked as Head of Technology Watch, Head of Strategic Marketing, and finally as Sales and Marketing Manager.
Back in France, he managed various Business Units and faced on a daily basis the operational practice of management and quality in challenging areas such as aeronautics.
After an executive course focused on Entrepreneurship at Lyon Business School (EM Lyon) he creates his first company in the field of Marketing Services in 2001 in Toulouse.
In 2003, with researchers from INRA and Grenoble University, the TecKnowMetrix project started. TKM develops data mining software and techniques that are used on technological literature (Patents or scientific articles) in the perspective of delivering business intelligence services for innovation and research. TKM leads numerous partnership-based research and innovation projects, and created a joint laboratory with CEA and INRIA. Main fields of interest are Big Data, semantic analysis, and data visualization. TKM also participated to 5 European collaborative projects with among others, Inserm, CNRS and CEA.
Since then, Christophe Lecante has led numerous missions in innovation management, technological watch, technology transfer, diversification and innovative company creation. Clients are mainly large firms, public research organizations, incubators, VC’s and SME’s. He also teaching and giving lectures on business intelligence, patent cartography and valorization and information cartography.
In 2011 he was appointed as Vice-President in charge of innovation at the Comité Richelieu. He takes an active part in the emerging of a real innovation plan at national and regional levels, and the fostering of crossed innovation between public funded Research and innovative SME’s.
In 2012, he participates in the Steering Committee of the National Consultation on Research & Innovation, and he was also involved in the experts group in charge of writing proposals for the national innovation system, and which delivered the “Beylat-Tambourin” Report (2013). He also was appointed as Chairman of the Board at IHEST.
Christophe Lecante is member of the national commission for the evaluation of public policies for Innovation, within the CGSP (France Stratégie).
