Interstices: discover the world of Information Science and Technology

The world of Information Science and Technology (called STIC for Science, Technology, Information and Communication in French) is being made available to a large public in a scientific culture web site, built by scientists.

Interstices was created in 2004 by INRIA and developed in partnership with CNRS, French Universities and the ASTI association.

Its goal is to give everybody the chance to discover the diversity of research in this enthralling domain and to promote understanding of scientific work and results. It gathers the major actors of French research in this field, who are invited to participate to the website life, according to the Interstices' charter.
