Team presentation
The aim of the project MODBIO is to develop computational models for molecular and cell biology.
We are interested in two types of problems:
Determining the structure of biological macromolecules,
Discovering and understanding the function of biological systems.
We approach these questions by combining techniques from constraint programming, discrete optimization,
hybrid systems, and statistical learning theory.
Research themes
Determination and analysis of macromolecular envelops
RNA structure and alternative splicing
Predicting protein secondary structure
Modeling biological systems with constraint programming
