Following a lengthy analysis and with many contributions from all levels of the Institute, the 2008-2012 Strategic Plan for INRIA was approved by its Board of Directors in December 2007.The 2008 -2012 Strategic Plan defined seven scientific priorities. The Plan is also a symbol of the Institute’s desire to play its part in an active policy of academic and industrial partnership. It confirms the place of the Institute in the European research arena.
