Edwin Chacon Golcher a specialist engineer in computational plasma physics
Edwin Chacon Golcher is a specialist engineer member of the Inria project-team Calvi, a joint Inria / University of Strasbourg research team. The project-team in which he belongs, is devoted to the mathematical and numerical study as well as to the visualization of different problems arizing mostly from plasma physics and beam physics.
Born in Costa Rica, he migrated to the United States to become a scientist. He achieved his goal. Learn more about his cursus and work.

It looks like a well-polished on-the-shelf HTML5 application. “But keep in mind that TexMix is actually a scientific demonstrator! warns research engineer Sébastien Campion. Our main goal was to gather and display the various findings of our research team. So we essentially packed into a single piece of software all these algorithms that TexMex scientists came up with in recent years. A lot of this research was financed through the Quæro European project.”
