Pascal Guitton, Research Director
Pascal Guitton has been a research director since 1 October 2010.
A computer science professor at Université Bordeaux 1 since 1992, he was the Inria Iparla (Bordeaux-Sud Ouest) project-team leader from 2003 and in charge of junior researchers within the research department from 2006.
His PhD thesis was on the validation of communication protocols, and he is interested in computer graphics, virtual reality, and 3D interaction.
He is chairman and a founding member of the French Virtual Reality Association, which brings together both academic and industrial players.
