Laurent Azoulay, Director of Administrative, Financial, and Asset Affairs

Effective from 1 May, Laurent Azoulay replaced Luc Archimbaud as Director of administrative, financial and asset affairs.
du Trésor Public and holds a Master’s degree in Public Law. From 2005 he worked with the French Social Services as an agent with power of attorney alongside the National Accounting Officer, and from 2009 as head of the Audit Management Department.
From 2000 until 2005 Laurent Azoulay was in charge of payment authorization within the Finance department of the French national agency for hunting and wildlife. Previously he was responsible for the Management Control Department of the Public Accounts Directorate of the French Economics and Finance Ministry.
Before that, Laurent was responsible for the budget and real estate department at the Social Security Treasury in Seine-Saint-Denis.
At the head of a thirty-strong team, Laurent Azoulay will supervise and coordinate the institute’s administrative operations, and in particular prepare and implement the budget, define and implement financial procedures, monitor contracts and markets and conduct the institute’s real estate and assets policy.
