International calls for projects 2012

Inria launches several international calls for projects. All those calls can be bilateral or multilateral calls have a common objective: to facilitate and to encourage international cooperation in Informatics and applied Mathematics
Africa and Middle-East
Inria CALL FOR PROJECTS
EUROMEDITERRANEE 3+3
Next call: june 2013
The EuroMediterranean 3+3 programme (Algeria, Spain, France, Italy, Morocco and Tunisia) was launched by Inria in 2005. It is presently composed of 14 partners. The aim of this Programme is to develop the links in the Mediterranean region, to structure research collaborations between Europe and the Maghreb countries and to favor the insertion of the networks of skills.
LIRIMA
The LIRIMA enables cooperation between research teams and teams in Africa (Sub-Saharan Africa and the Maghreb) to be reinforced. It will therefore allow the major operation undertaken by the SARIMA programme (2004-08 – The Priority Solidarity Fund supported by the Ministry of Foreign & European Affairs’) to be continued.
ICST Algeria
Next call: June 2013
The aim of the "ICST Algeria" programme is to promote high-level scientific research in the field of information and communication sciences and technologies (ICST), by means of partnerships between researchers from Algerian research teams and Inria project-teams. Within this programme, there will be a specific focus on training through research as part of jointly supervised theses.

Inria, CNRS and the Research Funding Foundations (FAPs) of 17 Brazilian States intend to develop cooperation activities in the field of research and development in information and communication science and technology.

ICST AmSud is a cooperation programme between France, Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Peru and Uruguay. The aim of this programme is to encourage and strengthen research & development collaborations and networking in the field of information and communication science and technology (ICST) through the presentation of joint research projects.

Inria CALLS FOR PROJECTS
PROGRAMME Inria@SiliconValley
The collaboration programme run together with the Universities of Berkeley and Stanford, called "Inria@SiliconValley", aims to strengthen and structure existing collaborations and develop new ones. Through this programme, Inria hopes to build a strong partnership with the research teams in California.

The "Inria-Russia" Program aims at fostering scientific collaborations between an Inria project-team and excellent research teams in Russia.

The regional program ICT-Asia is an initiative of the French cooperation launched toward Asia aiming at creating and reinforcing high-level collaborations and networks in the region involved in research and development in the field of information and communication technology (ICT).
FRONTIERS OF SCIENCE PROGRAMMES
The “Frontiers of Science” symposia aim at gathering promising and talented young researchers to have cross-disciplinary interactions with fellow scientists from different countries.
