How to reach the Inria Saclay Ile-de-France research centre
The Inria Saclay Ile-de-France research centre is located on the campus of the École Polytechnique in the Paris region. Some of our research teams are also based at university laboratories at the École Polytechnique, Université Paris-Sud 11, the CEA, Supélec, ENS-Cachan and the Ecole Centrale de Paris.

Getting to Inria Saclay - Île-de-France centre
By car
From ROCQUENCOURT
- Drive through Bailly and Saint-Cyr-L'Ecole to get to the A86
- On the A86, take the exit marked "Jouy-en-Josas" then follow the signs for Saclay
- At Christ de Saclay, take the 3rd exit at the roundabout (marked "Palaiseau, Ecole Polytechnique") then immediately take the 1st exit on the right (marked "Evry/Orsay/Centre Universitaire" towards theN118)
- On the N118, take exit no. 9: Centre Universitaire - Grandes Ecoles/Orsay Guichet (after 600m) after the petrol station
- When you get to the roundabout, take the exit marked "Palaiseau" (4th exit) and follow the same direction at the next roundabout.
- A few miles later, go straight forward at the next roundabout, and then take on your right at the next roundabout (follow the street between Thales and the Institut d'Optique.
- At the end of the road, turn on your right, and then your first on the left.
From PARIS, PONT DE SEVRES
- Follow the N118 and after approximately 12 km, take exit no. 9: Centre Universitaire.
- On the roundabout, follow the direction 'Palaiseau'.
- A few miles later, go straight forward at the next roundabout, and then take on your right at the next roundabout (follow the street between Thales and the Institut d'Optique.
- At the end of the road, turn on your right, and then your first on the left.
From PARIS, PORTE D’ORLEANS, PORTE D’ITALIE
- Take the A6, then the A10 towards Chartres.
- Come off at Palaiseau on the N444 towards Versailles and Cité Scientifique,
- Then the D36 towards Saclay, then the D128 and follow the 'École Polytechnique' direction.
By aeroplane
Orly airport is the nearest airport. After taking the Orlyval (automatic shuttle) you will get to the RER B.
By train
Paris stations or Massy-Palaiseau TGV station (very nearby, directly related to the RER B).
By RER
Massy-Palaiseay station is the closest station : take RER line B towards Saint-Rémy-lès-Chevreuse, getting off at Massy-Palaiseau.
Walk to the front of the train and take the stairs. On the top of the stairs, walk a few steps on your left and go down the stairs on your right. Walk straight forward to the bus stop (bus 91.06, the last one).
Take the bus 91.06 (B or C), and get off at the "Polytechnique Labo" station. The bus appears every 10 minutes.
