Researchers, engineers, students and specialists can all access reference documents on information and communication science and technologies.

Overview

We contribute to the publishing of scholarly publications througth the HAL-Inria open archive and we develop online services to fellow researchers. We also supply them with documents from our paper collections, that date back to 1967.

Inria's document collections are all listed in a single catalogue which can be viewed online. Services for Inria researchers and engineers are brought together in the Researcher's Information Toolkit.

Some figures

  • 90,000 books, theses and conference papers.
  • 45,000 technical and research reports.
  • 80 subscriptions at Rocquencourt and 20,000 titles accessible online (ACM, IEEE, SIAM, etc.) and databases (Web of Science, MathSciNet) available online for the public.
  • 2,500 documents loaned each year.

Prices

The libraries and documentation centres may request a copy or a loan for their readers in accordance with the following price scheme:

Photocopies of articles or extracts of books, per 50 pages > 8 euros excluding tax or 1 IFLA coupon
Loan of a book or thesis > 8 euros excluding tax or 1 IFLA coupon

Register

Researchers, teachers, postgraduate students and information officers can register on site provided they produce some form of identification (which is required to enter the Inria site) and proof of address from the last three months.
