Research positions
Top-flight positions and an international environment conducive to innovation and training-through-research enable Inria Nancy - Grand-Est to annually recruit a selection of the best scientists from a range of different profiles, including researchers, PhD students and post-doctoral researchers.
Research support positions
Developing and testing Inria's research work with a view to its transfer, and strengthening relations and partnerships with the academic world and businesses in France and abroad are the objectives of the R&D engineers and scientists in charge of industrial and international relations.
Support functions
To ensure the Institute's smooth running and assist its research and technology transfer activities, the support functions provide their indispensable assistance. They cover a broad range of professions and profiles, from human resources to law and financial management, documentation, logistics, general site maintenance and management, IT, communications, scientific and technical information, support and administrative services.

Administrative formalities handled
Lorraine Internationale provides you with information and guidance and takes responsibility for all of the numerous administrative formalities that need to be attended to, such as taxation, welfare, various insurance policies (car, home, etc.), opening a bank account, pension contributions, social security benefits to which you may be entitled, your residence permit, your work permit, importing your vehicle and your driving licence.
Finding your home
Lorraine Internationale also finds an apartment or house for you that matches your selection criteria, subject to available properties. Lorraine Internationale accompanies you to viewings and assists you with signing the rental agreement and the inventory, as well as all other accommodation-related formalities.
Schooling for your children, training and employment
Lorraine Internationale finds schools suited to your children's needs and accompanies you on school visits, including the registration process. Depending on your requirements, it also offers you the opportunity to take lessons in French or another language, both for your children and yourself, in individual or group lessons. Lastly, it can help your spouse to find employment or take training in Lorraine.
