Forum on Tactile and Gestural Interaction
The goal of this event is to bring together researchers, professionals, artists and anyone else who is interested to reflect on tactile and gestural interaction and the relationships between art, science and technology (ArtLab).

- Organisers : Lille 3 University, Pôle Images, Inria Lille Nord Europe research center, Le Fresnoy, Lille 1 University, Plaine Images and Lille Town
These meetings follow on from the Forum on Tactile and Gestural Interaction held at EuraTechnologies in 2010. This year, they will be held in Tourcoing, at the Le Fresnoy national studio for contemporary arts and the premises of Plaine Images.
A selection of works of art combining artistic creativity with technological innovation will be exhibited in the Plaine Images studio. These works will tie in with FITG, echoing the demonstrations performed by laboratories and businesses on tactile and gestural interfaces.
Programme:
- 2 days of lectures by the best experts in the field;
- an industrial showroom showcasing all the know-how of businesses in multitouch and gesture-detection environments;
- an exhibition of specially designed original art;
- the band Ez3kiel
