The MDE action brings together teams belonging to the "Architectures, Systems and Networks", "Programming and Software Engineering" and "Information, Interaction and Intelligence" research groups from the French National Centre for Scientific Research. It focuses on the dissemination of information and the concordance of the work of teams working on topics related to model-driven engineering (MDE).
The 7th edition of the Model-Driven Engineering Days will take place in Lille.
- Date : 7/06/2011 to 8/06/2011
- Place : Polytech, university campus of Lille 1
MDE 2011 intends to bring together researchers and industrialists interested in the multiple facets of model-driven engineering and to be a forum for discussions and exchanges of ideas used to debate current theories and practices of Model-Driven Engineering and its applications.
As with previous editions, the MDE days will participate in the structuring of this community. Young researchers and PhD students are strongly encouraged to participate in these exchanges.
For the 2011 edition, only short articles are solicited. Submitted articles pertain to original works and feedback focusing on topics related to Model-Driven Engineering, particularly including:
- Transformation of models;
- Requirements engineering;
- Configuration, manipulation and evolution of models;
- Semantics, consistency and compliance of models;
- Verification, validation and tests;
- Modelling @ run-time;
- Modelling by aspects and points of view;
- Heterogeneous models (semantic, execution model);
- Meta-modelling and associated tools;
- Dedicated languages (for modelling);
- Processes;
- Standardisation of models and meta-models;
- MDE applications, experiments (successes, failures), validations, etc.
Format
Short articles of 3 to 5 pages. The first page will include the article's title, the names of the authors, their affiliations and addresses (particularly e-mail addresses), as well as a ten-line summary and a list of key words. The official languages of the days are French and English.
For articles in French, the summary and the list of key words must be written in English and French. Each submitted article will be evaluated by three members of the programme committee, to assess originality and relevance.
To facilitate the publication of the proceedings, these submissions must be consistent with the Hermès review format.
The MDE action is soliciting submissions of demonstrations and tutorials on the same topics so as to organise satellite events on these days. This submission must be made in the form of two pages. Topics addressed by a large number of short articles may be the subject of workshops.
Proposals must be filed no later than 15 March 2011 in PDF format on the article submission server.
